Keeping in view, the desire of Shri Arasoji Rao and our objectives, our trust has undertaken several measures to preserve and conserve Sanathan Dharm. The trust has also resolved to take care of such temples which require support. Trust has taken over management of two temples in Bangalore that have religious significance to the Hindus and especially to the Marathas.
Rajaji Nagar was constructed in May 1964 to fulfill the longstanding demand of the local Maratha Community and the numerous devotees of Lord Vittala. Since then our Trust has managed the temple and successfully conducts daily rituals and major religious functions. These religious functions are attended by thousands of devotees.
Shree Kollapur Mahalakshi Temple
Since 2012, on request of the then existing management, our Trust manages the affairs of Shree Kollapur Mahalakshi Temple, Killari Road, Chikpet. Situated in the crowded business district of Chikpet, Kollapur Mahalakshmi Temple is 350 years, constructed by Shaji Bhonsle reflecting the famous Mahalakshmi Temple of Kolhapur.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
It is said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj got married in this temple. We have been successfully conducting the annual Rath Yatras and the Navami Pujas to the satisfaction of the devotees.
